Inside Account Manager
Corporate Accounts & Special Orders
Telephone Account Sales / Special Orders: Managed
existing customer accounts with an
emphasis to drive increased
penetration and sales over the
internet and phone. Enhance
customer satisfaction and
retention through regular customer
contact and problem resolution.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Cultivate partnership-type
relationships with customer
management. Develop and deliver
strategies and tactics for
customer prospects. Coordinate
location tactical profit
management. Coordinate customer
implementation and customer
reviews. Support assigned service
locations. Solicit assigned new
business opportunities. Manage
purchase mix and compliance at
customers' locations and
divisions. Work with key suppliers
to successfully drive sales within
existing accounts.
Develop customer relationships
through regular customer contact
primarily over the phone with on
site visits as needed to drive
sales. Review customer purchases
and recommend purchase saving
opportunities. Meet or exceed
sales and gross profit goals.
Provide training to customers on
internet features and
functionality.

to develop new and existing
business: open new doors,
establish, build accounts. The
individual must be a self-starter
with proven energy and motivation,
willing to find, develop and close
sales leads. They must be results
oriented, self motivated, and
driven by both financial and
career opportunities. Excellent
verbal and written communication
skills are essential as the
position requires extensive use of
the computer and telephone for
placing and researching special
orders.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
College Degree in Business , Marketing,
Communications
preferred,
or related. 1-3 YEARS+ OF
SUCCESSFUL SALES EXPERIENCE
preferably in the office products
industry..
Knowledge of products, pricing,
competition and sales objectives.
Time management skills a must!
Industry knowledge a plus.
Knowledge
of pricing, competition and sales
objectives is necessary. Ability
to sell company value and service
in addition to features and
benefits of products. Industry
knowledge within a
business-to-business atmosphere.
Experience working with and or
within a large company
environment, as well as PC
knowledge.
Selling Skills – proven ability to
acquire orders,
The individual must
