The
Senior
Technical Support Engineer
has the opportunity to work in an
environment which is heavily
team-oriented, dynamic, and
fast-paced with a focus on
providing excellent customer
service and World Class technical
support. Reporting to as a Lead and
Manager of Technical and Customer
Support Services, the
Senior
Technical Support Engineers should
be friendly, energetic, and
personable team players to help
build our customer service team.
Maintaining customer expectations
and answering highly technical MS
Exchange questions will take the
majority of this candidate's time.
- Supervise staff Providing business-to-business technical support
via phone, email, and other possibilities
- Assist with content creation for documentation for
training and customer reference material
- Possible assist with administration of the all
company products and all components for the service.
- Optimize methods used to provide basic maintenance, upgrade, repair, and
support of servers to obtain best uptime on all
systems. Deploy and move server systems as required
throughout the service.
- Provide technical detail for problem solving and
solutions with customers and administrators.
- Special projects as required. Y2K
Remediation, Y2K Documentation.
- Customer interface is required.
- Maintain knowledge and up to date technical skills
and certification in MS Exchange technology.

Minimum 1 years experience with administrating and
maintaining MS Exchange.

Minimum 2 years experience with NT4 server, mail
servers, web servers (specifically IIS) and NT domain
administration.

Solid knowledge of TCP/IP protocols - specifically HTTP,
SMTP, POP3, X.400 and IMAP.

A self-starter who can organize and manage multiple tasks
and is always looking for a better solution.

Be on call and able to work nonstandard hours as needed.

Possess
excellent communication and organizational skills.

Possibility
to travel 5%.

Knowledge of
scripting or computer language such as perl or C++ is an advantage.

Knowledge of
Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000 a plus.
